Apis is donating its branding, online strategy and web development services free of charge to promote the Students' World Energy Congress (SWEC), being held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in November, 2008. Mark Blackwell, president of the ISEEE Students Association, approached Apis Design in May looking for web design services. After meeting with Mr. Blackwell, Robin Eldred, president of Apis Design, decided to offer forth Apis' services as sponsorship in lieu of payment.
